When we were younger, we always dreamed of the day when we’d grow up, to get to do the things we weren’t allowed to do, to go to places we weren’t supposed to be, and to go on grand adventures beyond our imagination.
As we grow older, we realize that there isn’t really much about the “grown up world” that we have so long been dreaming of. And we sink into the monotony of everyday life, dragged under the currents of endless “to-do” lists. But then comes that one person who takes our hand and helps us remember the simple joys of childhood days long forgotten. We meet someone who reawakens our fascination of how balloons fall in reverse to the sky, reminds us of how exciting pillow fights were, We meet the one who bear witness to simple joys with us –of how the feathers fall slowly to the floor, of blowing pinwheels and getting lost in their colors and motion. Of course, when that day comes, we’re finally old enough to go to places we weren’t supposed to be. When that day comes, we can finally have that adventure we always wanted to have – with the one who lovingly holds our hands.
